Hey folks how's everyone doing? Perhaps if you were in a gloomy mood and wanted to get even gloomier, go watch this German film "Napola" about Nazi schools and indoctrination and all that kinda thing. Not a bad film, danke. So while everyone in the world was going out on a date on this wonderful date, i was on a hot date of my own. With none other than daniel thong. Gosh we have no lives. Well then again i wouldn't trade him for any girl in the world. Oh scrub your minds.

Anyway the scenery in the movie is quite nice as well, with a castle that looks incredibly like the Olomouc one. Reminds me of the nice chilly days in the Czech lands. Sobsobsbob. Its okay, i shall return there for my honeymoon, if ever i do have one that is.

Marriage is such an obscure concept. The idea of being eternally committed to someone can be rather intimidating if you think about it. Imagine having to wake up to the same person everyday for the next 60 years of your life. Woo scary. Then again, that's why so many marriages fail nowadays. I guess ol' uncle denis is right. Love is not about your feelings, love is a decision. Feelings don't last forever. Which is why children should really admire their parents if they have remained together all these years. In an age where we take relationships lightly, in an age where sex forms pillars of relationships, in an age where we are obsessed with pleasure, we need to find ways to have meaningful relationships with others.

I'm guilty of being slightly pessimistic these days. But you can't help it when all these things go on around you. To quote Lindsay Lohan, "if i strip for the camera, it won't leave any surprises for my private life". Sex is meant to be enjoyed, certainly, and only in love can sex be enjoyed to its potential. Anyhow, i don't think most of our parents stay together for the sex.

Joey wants said that marriage is a kinda vocation. Verily verily. Man i admire my parents and all the parents in the world who have stayed together through it all.

On another note, i have been drinking TOO MUCH coke these few days, better force myself into cold turkey for a while.

Ok i give up.

Tuesday, August 9

Seems everyone's real weird these days
All pretty moody in so many ways.
No smiles, no chuckles, nor giggles or laughs,
Well, hell, perhaps things are a little too rough?

Wait wait wait just, for a moment, hang on,
Everyone's answering, "Are you fine?" with a resounding "Non!"
So i don't know if its me that's thinking ascrew,
Or is everyone just feeling real blue?

Honestly folks, its seriously glum enough,
Without everyone playing their bluffs.
Okay, so i might not understand
Why Robin Hood's died with his merry men.

But hey, i guess we'll need to try
To reduce all the damned groans and sighs.
Fire begets fire, gloom begets gloom.
So peace can't enter a heart with no room.

Leave all your troubles in the glorious sunshine,
And no, i don't mean women and wine.
Take some time out, all by yourself,
Then maybe you'll discover your true wealth.

Suffer the silence, trust me it works,
Instead of searching for bodily perks.
Oh yes, go get a Coke,
And in all things just go for broke.

Well yeah, do cheer up my dearest friends,
See in the end, it'll all makes sense.
You've one life, that be known,
Se let God see your raised cheekbones.
